ISNR Abu Dhabi Goes Global

International Promotional Roadshow

The Middle Eastern Homeland Security market is forecasted to grow at a CAGR of 15.5% to achieve $17.05 billion by 2021, strongly driven by government initiatives to create a smart and secure environment amidst high threatening activities in the region. This is the very foundation upon which ISNR Abu Dhabi has built it’s strategy “POWERING INNOVATIONS, EMPOWERING COLLABORATIONS, FOR A SAFER CONNECTED WORLD” upon.

To gain greater insights into cutting-edge homeland security, resilience and cyber security technologies and as a part of ISNR Abu Dhabi & Infosecurity Middle East 2018 promotional roadshow, a delegation from MOI toured the globe and attended multiple international events such as Security & Counter Terror Expo in London UK,  Interpolitex in Moscow, K-safety Expo in South Korea and the 20th edition of Milipol Paris.

Security & Counter Terror Expo

The promotional roadshow started with a visit to Security and Counter Terror Expo 2017, in London. The delegation was led by Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector-General of the Ministry of the Interior and Chairman of the ISNR 2018 High Organising Committee. During the visit, the delegation was updated on the latest technologies showcased by global companies specialising in areas of military equipment and security appliances. The delegation invited leading companies to participate in the eighth edition of ISNR Abu Dhabi.



Next on the map was Russia. In response to the growing interest in the Middle East market from Russian companies within the industry, a prestigious official delegation from UAE MOI’s Higher Organising Committee of ISNR Abu Dhabi 2018 met with leading Russian Homeland Security & Resilience companies on the morning of the 16th October 2017 in Moscow, Russia.

The delegation also attended Interpolitex where they met with Rosoboronexport and the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

K-safety Expo

The next destination on the international promotional agenda was K-safety Expo in South Korea, which resulted in the creation of a dedicated Korean Pavilion for the first time in the UAE! The national pavilion will showcasing best practice and innovations in cyber security and AI at Infosecurity ME.

South Korea is leading best practice and innovations in cyber security and artificial intelligence in Asia. Nuclear power and oil are the foundations of the relationship between the UAE and South Korea but that it is now expanding to many other areas, from politics and the economy to culture and people-to-people exchanges. South Korea has established an unparalleled partnership with the UAE in many spheres such as energy, national defence, security, infrastructure, health, and education.

Milipol Paris

In honor of a rich bilateral cooperation & relation between France and UAE, Milipol Paris was up next. The delegation toured the exhibition's different pavilions and visited +200 stands where they had the opportunity to review the latest technological public and industrial homeland security products and services.

While in France, the delegation seized the opportunity and visited the headquarter of Engie, a major player in electrical engineering, information & communications systems, perimeter protection, intrusion detection, video management systems & control rooms. The visit concluded in the initial agreement to initiate the inclusion of participations of breakthrough technologies from French industry leaders under a dedicated national pavilion.
