Future of Policing Forum

Supported by the UAE Ministry of Interior, and developed in collaboration with UAE Police authorities, FPF brought together experts from the government and private sectors, facilitate discussion and provide insight into the future of policing arena.

FPF has explored, analysed and articulated the challenges facing the police, seeking to inform the public debate on the future of digital policing, assist the police in refining specific priorities for investment, and identify opportunities for wider collaboration.



Critical Infrastructure Protection Forum

Supported by the UAE Ministry of Interior, CIPF is a central pillar of ISNR Abu Dhabi, and has brought together experts from the government and private sectors, facilitating discussions and providing insights into the critical infrastructure protection arena. The forum focused on:

  • Safety and security within the energy and mass transportation sectors.
  • Where future threats are likely to come from.
  • The role of government and private sector in promoting and adapting best-practice.
  • How technology is changing the nature of threats and its impact on providing greater protection.

Major Events Safety & Security Forum

Following the success of the 2017 launch of ME3S, this sector will be included as a featured event within the ISNR.

During all three days of the event and through focused panel discussions, interactive roundtables, technical workshops and closed-door sessions, the agenda of the forum included assessing the global threat environment of hosting major events and the safety and security implications this has on host nations, multi-dimensional collaboration and strategic planning, risk management, international standards, crowd management, and local regulations.
